Another obstacles come from being or not being married.
Let’s
assume you are a guy and you are not married yet, so one would say that
you have all the time in the world. Well that is so far from the truth.
You don’t have a wife but you have tens of friends and you know how
long time it takes even only to talk to them. And you also need to meet
them, join the parties, visit them on birthdays, so on and so forth.
That takes 110% of your time and who has time to become a good yogi.
After
some time, you need to get married so your mind is focused if not
obsessed with that so you cannot really dedicate lots of time meditating.
“I can do that after I get married”, you say to yourself.
“Being married is very important for your inner balance, isn’t it?”
True, you will be a greater yogi in the instant you say "I do".
Then
you get married. And you have time to become a good yogi?
You are
kidding me right, you now have chores like you never had in your life.
Funny how both wife and husband have twice more chores after marriage.
And if the kids come, time is even less. You are happy to have time to
sleep. When to worry about being a great yogi. Who cares anyway, zzzz...
