Generation Z (part 4)

(Read also part 1)

- Garfield, I, I, I think you have a big ego...

- Yes, I do, I am aware of that...

- And?!?

- And what?

- Aren't you upset about that?

- No, because I am in a better position than you are.

- How is that?

- My ego is so big and because of that, it cannot become bigger. So I am constant. You on the other hand...

Generation Z (part 3)

(Read also part 1)

- Garfield, this means nothing. It does not really matter how you name a chakra, it is still the same chakra. What it is important is to apply the techniques in the same way.

- Like what?

- For example, the process of raising Kundalini and taking bandhan is to be done in the same way.

- Really?!?

- Yes, really!!!

- And how is that?

- It is simple, everybody knows that. You raise the Kundalini first time and tie a knot. You raise the second time and tie two knots. The third time, three knots. Then you put yourself into a bandhan, starting from left to right and back, seven times.

- Are you sure?

- I am absolutely sure.

- Should we research?

- Let's!

Generation Z (part 2)

(read also Part 1)

- Garfield, you should be ashamed of yourself!

You are without respect for my generation, the one you called Generation Y.

The protocol is not a guideline, it should be obeyed exactly.

Also, everything is clear and specific, I am not sure what you are talking about when you say there are different ways for each thing.

- Okay, let's investigate.

- Okay, let's.

- For example, what is the correct way: Swadhishthan or Swadhishthana?

- Of course, Swadhishthan.

- How do you know?

- Because I know, this is how I've been taught and this is how it is.

- Okay, let's go to the source and listen to two talks.

- Well, this means the correct way is Swadhishthana. So I was wrong. I always admit when I am wrong as I don't have such a big ego. But I will tell everybody who is saying otherwise that this is the only way it is correct. I can't wait...

- Let's listen to another talk.

- This means correct is Swadhishthan. Garfield, I am confused....

Generation Z

- Hey, Garfield. Which yogis you like most?

- I like, more or less, all of them, but the most I like the younger ones.

- Why is that? The older ones are doing most of the work. They are running the meetings, taking care of the legal stuff, running the councils...

- Here, I'll explain to you why.

So, far there are three generations of yogis.

Generation X are the yogis that got their realization from Shri Mataji and got a chance the spend a lot of time with Her. They went to India tours for 1-2 months, had tea or even pizza with Shri Mataji. They got their directions directly from Her. They asked her even the smaller things like what job to take or what sari to wear.

They were strong yogis, but they were not that many.

They started meditation between 1970 and 1990 or so.

Generation Y started meditating between 1990 and 2010. Most of the yogis of today are in this generation. While they had the chance to see Shri Mataji many times, they could not spend too much time, one to one, with her. That is why they learned to meditate from other yogis. While this was good as Sahaja Yoga spread in all the corners of the world, it has a big disadvantage. The idea of "this is how it should be done" got into their minds.

This is your generation, Jon. You do a lot of work but at the same time, you go ballistic for things that you think are super important. You care a lot about protocol, but at the same time, everybody has a different one that, of course, is the good one. Rasing kundalini and bandhan have to be done in a certain way, but at the same time, there are at least 4 types of bandhans, each of them being the correct one.

But fortunately, there is the Generation Z who started meditating in the last ten years or so and also that are the kids of generation X and Y.

Those are the yogis that laugh at you when you say that "this is the way to do this".

They know protocol is a guideline and that love is the guide.

They know that a hug is more important than an advice and encouragement is more educating than a lecture.

They know everybody is not perfect and that only together we can make it.

They know a leader is not leading but pushing.

They know without reading, they teach without speaking, they heal with a song.

Generation Z will really teach you what meditating is about.
